Editions
An edition gives every place in the atlas a song. Once an edition is published it is frozen: its songs, lyrics and descriptions stay exactly as they were, so the atlas becomes a record of how the world was heard at a moment in time. Later editions add new interpretations rather than replacing old ones.
Future editions are planned to reinterpret every place under a single artistic constraint for the year, so that a place can be heard across editions, and the same approach can be heard across the world.
